Full job description

Clear Smiles Wolverhampton is looking for a friendly, organised, and professional Dental Receptionist / Administrator to join our growing private dental practice.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a vital role in creating an outstanding experience from the moment they arrive. We're looking for someone who enjoys building rapport with people, thrives in a busy environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the front of house reception area
Welcoming patients and visitors with a warm, professional approach
Booking, rescheduling, and confirming appointments
Answering telephone calls and responding to patient enquiries
Contacting patients regarding appointments and treatment plans
Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
Processing payments and handling confidential patient information
Completing general administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the practice
Working closely with the wider practice team to deliver an exceptional patient experience

Working Hours

Our practice operates between 8:00am and 8:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, with shifts scheduled across these opening hours.

This role offers 30+ hours per week. Flexibility is essential, as occasional Friday working may be required to support practice open days, events, and training.

What We're Looking For

At least 1 year of administration or reception experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A confident and professional telephone manner
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
Good IT and administrative skills
Previous experience within a dental or healthcare setting is desirable
