Full job description

We are looking for a gardener to join a growing garden maintenance company based in Hertford, for 4 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday), and to be flexible to staff holidays and sickness for additional hours.

The successful candidate will be hardworking, reliable with a passion for being and working outdoors.

Responsibilities and Duties

Lawn cutting
Hedge cutting
Weeding
Brush cutting
Edging
Pruning
Leaf collecting
Planting
General upkeep of private and commercial gardens

Qualifications and Skills

Experience using garden equipment will be highly advantageous, as well as some knowledge of plants
The successful candidate ideally will be well presentable, have good communication skills, be polite and most importantly reliable
Fluent written and verbal English required
Good customer service skills

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £12.75 per hour + 12.07% holiday pay
