Full job description

This role would be a great fit for an Events/Marketing student at Bournemouth University, looking to get real hands-on experience with a small, fast-moving team.

Remote / Hybrid — can work remote or in our office at Bournemouth Airport
Average 2 days / 15 hours per week
Fits around university term time

About us

Alternative Events run B2B events for legal and accountancy professionals across the UK and Europe. As part of a small and growing team, you’ll have real responsibility from day one.

What you'll be doing

Helping keep our website updated (WordPress)
Designing graphics for online and offline materials (Canva)
Supporting social media content and scheduling
Basic video editing/animation for content
General marketing and events support as needed

What we're looking for

Current student, Events Management/Marketing or related degree
Good eye for design, decent understanding of digital marketing basics
Organised, communicates clearly, doesn't need micromanaging
Video editing and canva experience is a plus, not a requirement
