Job Summary: You Before Me Care – Client Specific Needs Request

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable female carer to support a client in the Witham area. This is a part time role.

Client-Specific Requirements:

Female carer preferred.
Driver essential with access to a reliable vehicle.
Non-smoker, due to the client’s medical history.
A person who takes pride in maintaining a clean and tidy environment, as this is important to the client.
Minimum of 4 years’ professional care experience.
Kind, respectful, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility, promoting dignity and independence.
Support clients with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
Help with medication management in accordance with care plans and healthcare professionals' instructions.
Maintain accurate records of care provided, adhering to organisational policies and procedures.
Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care delivery.
Support clients in engaging with social activities and community outings where appropriate.
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff.
Use IT systems to update care records and document observations as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving community visits or outings.
Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Basic IT skills are required for maintaining electronic care records.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow detailed care plans accurately.
Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating patience and empathy towards clients’ needs.
