Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Alloy Wheel Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and refurbishing alloy wheels to ensure they meet quality standards and customer expectations. Your expertise will help enhance vehicle aesthetics and safety, contributing to an exceptional customer experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to automotive excellence.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of alloy wheels for damage, corrosion, or defects using mechanical knowledge and visual assessment techniques
Use hand tools and power tools to repair or refurbish wheels, including polishing, sanding, welding, or straightening as needed
Perform heavy lifting of wheels and related components safely and efficiently during the repair process
Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and quality checks completed
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment to promote safety and efficiency
Communicate clearly with team members and customers regarding repair status and recommendations

Experience

Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in wheel or automotive repairs preferred
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in wheel refurbishment or repair processes
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of routine tasks
Prior experience working in an automotive workshop or similar environment is advantageous but not mandatory
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
