Mobile Responder (Telecare)

Location: Wakefield

Job Type: Permenant

Shift Pattern: 4 on - 4 off Rota Inc Nights & Bank Holidays

Hourly rate: £13.45

As we evolve our structure to better serve our clients, we offer a completely digital telecom-system, making it possible for all of our vulnerable and elderly clients to feel safe in the comfort of their home, as well as in the outside world. We are looking for a compassionate, caring Mobile Responder, with experience of working in the care sector to join our amazing team in the Wakefield area.

What you will do as Mobile Response Officer…

As part of the On-Call Rota you will respond to calls from our customers and service users.

A typical shift can include attending call out to our client's homes for a number of reasons:

An alarm has been raised but we have not been able to contact the service user.
Failure/Faulty lifeline system or equipment
Lost pendants where the user has no other means of raising an alarm and is left vulnerable.
Minor injuries or falls that can be dealt with by administering first aid.

Also includes:

To deliver the service in line with contract requirements, operating within the agree parameters for the role.
To ensure that all work undertaken on customer’s premises is carried out in a safe manner, with the customer’s consent and to the company’s standards.

What would we like to see in your CV:

Experience in the care sector is essential.
Knowledge of lifeline services and the equipment used would be an advantage.
Excellent approach to customer service –in person and on the phone.
Clean Driving License.
