Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC and manual machinery safely and efficiently.
Produce high-quality components in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
Monitor production to achieve efficiency, quality, and performance targets.
Replace machining tips and tooling as prompted by machine macros and production requirements.
Use hand tools and precision measuring equipment to inspect and verify component quality.
Operate CNC control systems, including Fanuc, Haas, and Mikron.
Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
Carry out routine quality checks and ensure products meet company standards.
Perform basic preventative maintenance and keep machines in good working order.
Ensure effective shift handovers, communicating any production or maintenance issues.
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across the work area.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, and quality, making recommendations where appropriate.
Comply with all company policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements.
Wear and maintain the required PPE, ensuring replacements are requested when needed.
Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Management Team.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience operating CNC and/or manual machining equipment.
A high level of attention to detail, vigilance, and technical competence.
Experience using precision measuring instruments.
Knowledge of CNC control systems such as Fanuc, Haas, or Mikron.
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
A strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach to work.
