Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our team in various administrative tasks. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing daily administrative functions, facilitating communication, and maintaining accurate records. This position requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Knowledge within the industry would be useful, however training will be provided within the company.
Full time hours available with a permanent role. We are a busy company with an ever-expanding premises. Looking for someone as soon as possible.

You must be able to work weekdays and weekends.

Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 17:00pm.

Every other Saturday between the hours of 6:45am - 12:30pm.

Please note you will be expected to work through school holidays, if you have children you will need to make sure you have childcare in place for their time off. Hourly rate will depend on experience.

Responsibilities

Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Maintain organised filing systems for both physical and electronic documents.
Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
Booking jobs in via phone call or face to face in the office.
Assisting vehicles coming onto our site and operating the weighbridge.
Booking vehicles in for inspections or MOTS and any repair work if needed.

Skills

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Familiarity with data entry processes and maintaining accurate records.
English Language for healthy and safety reasons.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Reliable with good time keeping.
Be able to work independently as well as working as a team.

Experience

Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
Previous experience in an office environment is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn
