Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Waitress to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all patrons. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and hospitality, along with strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks seamlessly. This position offers an engaging work environment where you can develop your skills in food and beverage service.

Duties

Prepare a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages in accordance with company standards.
Serve food and drinks to customers in a courteous and timely manner.
Take customer orders accurately and process payments efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness of the counter, seating area, and workstations throughout the shift.
Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
Provide friendly and attentive service to enhance the customer experience.
Restock supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
Follow food safety protocols at all times to uphold hygiene standards.
Manage multiple tables or orders during busy periods with effective time management.

Requirements

Previous experience as a barista or waitress is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality.
Ability to serve customers efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanour.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
Excellent organisational skills to keep work areas tidy and stock levels maintained.
Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
A positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine interest in delivering outstanding customer service.
