Based - Banna Court moving to Sellafield site in 2027

Senior Administrator Job Overview

The Senior Administrator manages office operations, oversees administrative processes, and ensures the efficient functioning of daily activities within the organization. This role coordinates administrative support, maintains records, and provides guidance to other administrative staff.

Job Duties

Supervise office operations and monitor workflow efficiency
Develop and implement administrative procedures and policies
Organize and maintain filing systems and confidential records
Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence
Manage schedules, appointments, and meeting arrangements
Handle complex queries and resolve administrative problems
Support budget planning and track office expenses
Order office supplies and oversee facility maintenance requests
Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics for events
Guide, train, and evaluate other administrative staff
Ensure compliance with office policies and legal requirements
Implement process improvements to enhance productivity
Collaborate with internal departments and external partners
Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field
Significant experience in an administrative or office management role
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities
Proficiency in office software and information systems
Experience supervising or training administrative staff
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
Knowledge of office management practices and relevant regulations
