We are seeking a passionate and reliable Science Tutor(s) to deliver 1-2 lessons per week to learners at our education centre. This is a part-time role, ideal for qualified tutors or teachers looking to supplement their income with a consistent and rewarding position.
This is for a Secondary-GCSE Science Class. You will rotate weekly between Year Groups.
You will ideally be able to cover Physics, Biology and Chemistry.
Week 1 -> Year 7/8
Week 2 -> Year 9/10
Week 3 -> Year 11
Week 4 -> Back to Year 7/8 and through the rotation again.
There is a maximum of 12 in a class.
Timings:
Monday: 18:00-20:00
Wednesday: 18:00-20:00
Friday: 18:00-20:00
You will be required to commit weekly to a day, or two days depending on your availabilty.
Responsibilities
- Develop engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding academic progress.
- Ability to commit weekly for the entire academic year.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Tutor or Teacher.
- Strong understanding of educational principles and practices.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
