ABOUT NEWCODE PARTNERSHIP

Newcode Partnership is a fast-growing sales and lead generation company that helps businesses connect with their ideal customers through strategic outbound sales campaigns. As our SDR team grows, we're looking for a Sales Coach & Team Lead to raise the standard of every call our team makes.

ROLE OVERVIEW

This is not a back-office management role. We want someone on the floor every day — listening to live calls, jumping in with real-time feedback, running daily huddles, and coaching each SDR to hit their numbers. You will split your time evenly between two things: making calls yourself to lead by example and hit your own KPIs, and coaching the team, day in and day out, to raise theirs.

You'll be based at our Leyland office three days a week (within a 15-mile radius) with two days working from home, giving you time on the floor with the team balanced with focused planning and admin time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead by Example — Own Quota (50%)

Make outbound calls daily alongside the team, hitting the same call-volume and booking targets as an SDR.
Consistently meet or exceed personal KPIs for calls, qualified leads, and meetings booked.
Model best-practice objection handling, qualifying, and closing on live calls.
Stay hands-on with prospecting so coaching is always grounded in what's actually working right now.

Coach & Develop the Team (50%)

Listen in on live and recorded calls and give SDRs real-time, in-the-moment feedback — not just end-of-week reviews.
Run daily huddles, call-shadowing sessions, and role-plays to sharpen the team's pitch and objection handling.
Deliver regular 1:1 coaching sessions focused on individual development plans and KPI improvement.
Onboard and ramp new SDRs, getting them to full productivity faster.
Track team and individual performance, spotting coaching opportunities before numbers slip.
Work with leadership to refine scripts, talk tracks, and outreach strategy based on what's working on the floor.
Build a supportive, high-energy team culture that people want to show up for every day.

REQUIREMENTS — ESSENTIAL

Proven track record in an outbound sales, SDR, BDR, or telesales role, consistently hitting or exceeding KPIs.
Experience coaching, mentoring, or informally leading other salespeople — you don't need a big 'manager' title, but you need to have done this before.
Confident and effective on the phone, comfortable being the example the team follows.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Comfortable giving direct, constructive, in-the-moment feedback.
Highly organised, with the ability to balance personal targets and team coaching every day.
Able to commute to our Leyland office three days a week (within a 15-mile radius).

REQUIREMENTS — DESIRABLE

1. Previous experience as a Team Lead, Sales Coach, Sales Trainer, or SDR Manager.

2. Experience working within a sales or lead generation agency, or a similar high-volume outbound environment.

3. Experience selling or generating leads for high-ticket B2B products or services.

4. Familiarity with CRM and call-monitoring tools.

5. Experience building or delivering sales training materials, playbooks, or onboarding programmes.

6. Experience engaging with C-suite executives, Directors, Founders, and senior decision-makers.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS)

Personal outbound calls, qualified leads, and meetings booked (own quota).
Team-wide improvement in calls-to-meeting conversion rate.
Team achievement of monthly sales development targets.
Number of live coaching sessions and call-listens delivered per week.
Ramp time for new SDRs to reach full productivity.
Team retention and engagement.
