Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and professional Treatment Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will serve as a vital link between patients and the practice, ensuring smooth communication, scheduling, and administrative support. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong communication skills and a background in administrative functions within a medical or dental environment. The Treatment Coordinator will be responsible for managing patient appointments, explaining treatment plans, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance patient satisfaction and retention.

Duties

Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and follow-up.
Explain treatment plans clearly to patients, addressing any questions or concerns.
Maintain accurate patient records using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Assist with insurance processing and financial arrangements related to treatment plans.
Communicate effectively with patients via phone, email, and in person to provide updates and support.
Organise and manage administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
Support the team with IT-related tasks to ensure smooth operation of practice management systems.
Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming environment for all patients.
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery.

Requirements

Proven experience in an administrative role within a medical or dental setting is preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous.
Organised with outstanding time management skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service in a professional environment.
Good IT skills with the ability to adapt to new software systems quickly.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience in handling insurance claims or financial arrangements is desirable.
