Overview

We are seeking a professional and personable Beauty Therapist/Receptionist to join our esteemed salon. This dual role involves delivering exceptional beauty treatments while providing outstanding customer service at the front desk. The ideal candidate will be passionate about beauty, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to creating a welcoming environment for clients. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a vibrant and supportive team.

Responsibilities

Greet clients warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel comfortable throughout their visit
Perform a variety of beauty treatments, including makeup application, skincare, and other specialised services
Manage appointment bookings efficiently using our scheduling system
Provide detailed consultation to clients regarding treatments and aftercare advice
Handle all reception duties such as answering phone calls, responding to enquiries, and processing payments
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of treatment rooms and reception area
Promote retail products and special offers to clients to enhance their experience and maximise sales
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in makeup application and general beauty therapy is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for specific treatments
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
Good organisational abilities to manage appointments and client records efficiently
Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required
Flexibility to work during salon hours, including weekends if necessary
A genuine passion for the beauty industry and helping clients feel confident and relaxed

Pay: £60.00-£264.87 per day
