Overview:

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A 'LIVE IN' POSITION

We are seeking a skilled Commis to join our team at The Bicknoller Inn The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to further your experience. Apprenticeship available.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in food preparation under the guidance of senior kitchen staff

- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and regulations

- Support the culinary team in all aspects of food production

- Help maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment

- Contribute to the smooth operation of the kitchen by fulfilling assigned tasks

- Assist with supervising junior kitchen staff when required

Skills:

- Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary skills

- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures

- Strong hospitality mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction

- Ability to work well in a team environment and support colleagues

- Leadership qualities to assist in guiding junior staff members

- Experience in supervising kitchen activities is advantageous
