Full job description

Driver / Meat picker

R Owton Wholesale Butchers are a rapidly expanding, local business based in West End, Southampton with a wide-ranging customer base encompassing retail, catering and wholesale clients.

We are seeking a new employee to join our team of Picker/Drivers. The role is on a permanent full-time basis to assist in the ongoing growth of the business.

What we offer:

Weekly bonus which increases the hourly rate to £13.42

The Job:

Picking products
Delivering products
Physically demanding
5/6 days a week: Monday – Saturday

The Candidate:

An active team player who wants to contribute and innovate
Enjoys a physical role within the workplace
Enthusiasm, energy and passion
Have demonstrable attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to stay calm and work effectively under pressure
1+ years’ experience in meat trade preferred
1+ years’ experience delivery driving preferred

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
