We are looking for a Spa Manager to lead our spa team at The Bank House Hotel, Spa & Golf Club. The Bank House Hotel is a luxury four-star hotel set within 123 acres of beautiful Worcestershire countryside, featuring an 18-hole golf course, a luxury spa, and the Garden Room Restaurant.
Our spa offers a range of facilities and treatments, including a thermal suite, Spa bath , relaxation lounge, and four treatment rooms, providing guests with the ultimate wellness experience.
As Spa Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading, inspiring, and developing the spa team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and achieve business objectives.
- Managing the day-to-day operation of the spa, ensuring the highest standards of service, cleanliness, presentation, and health & safety.
- Driving spa revenue through effective retail sales, treatment sales, memberships, promotions, and package development.
- Monitoring performance against budgets and KPIs, identifying opportunities to maximise profitability.
- Managing staff recruitment, training, scheduling, performance reviews, and ongoing development.
- Maintaining stock control and overseeing the ordering of retail products, treatment supplies, and consumables.
- Ensuring all treatment and operational standards are consistently delivered across the business.
- Building strong relationships with guests, addressing feedback professionally and proactively.
- Liaising closely with other hotel departments to create seamless guest experiences and maximise cross-selling opportunities.
- Developing and implementing spa initiatives, promotions, policies, and operational procedures.
- Supporting the delivery of treatments during busy periods when required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a Spa Manager, Assistant Spa Manager, Head Therapist, or similar leadership position.
- A recognised qualification in Beauty Therapy, Spa Therapy, or a related field (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred).
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a successful team.
- Excellent commercial awareness and experience managing budgets, revenues, and retail performance.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- A professional, enthusiastic, and guest-focused approach.
- High standards of attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and bank holidays as required.
- A passion for the spa and wellness industry and a desire to stay up to date with emerging trends and innovations.

The Malvern View Spa utilises Temple Spa as our product house. Previous experience with Temple Spa treatments and products would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
