Experienced 360 Excavator Operator

Location: Chester, CH1 6BS
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From £16.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Join the Dandy's Team

Dandy's (Chester) Limited is looking for an experienced 360 Excavator Operator to join our busy recycling, screening and manufacturing operation based in Chester.

This is a hands-on role operating a brand new Hyundai HX360A 36-tonne excavator within a fast-paced yard environment. You'll play a key role in feeding screening and processing equipment, loading vehicles, managing stockpiles and supporting the day-to-day operation of the site.

Key Responsibilities

Operate a brand new Hyundai HX360A excavator safely and efficiently.
Feed screening and processing equipment.
Load lorries and manage stockpiles.
Carry out daily machine inspections and basic maintenance.
Support general yard operations when required.
Work closely with the yard and production teams.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health and safety.

Essential Requirements

Proven experience operating 360 excavators in a commercial environment.
Valid CPCS, NPORS or equivalent 360 Excavator qualification.
Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious.
Own transport to and from work.

Desirable

Experience within recycling, aggregates, waste management, quarrying or similar industries.
Experience operating additional mobile plant machinery such as loading shovels or telehandlers.

From £16.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Working Hours

Five days per week, on a rota that includes regular weekend working.
