Full job description

Allied Aerosystems Limited specialise in the calibration and repair of test equipment from all sectors of aerospace, engineering, automotive and manufacturing.

We are seeking to appoint a Supplier Co-ordinator to oversee and manage all aspects of supplier management (an international supply chain) within the organisation. The role is crucial in ensuring supplier development and quality. Specific responsibilities include:- qualification and approval of suppliers; performance of suppliers, supplier relationships, contractor management, supplier expediting, supply chain risk management and required to manage all supplier correspondence.

The ideal candidate will have experience in supplier management and an understanding of business operations within a manufacturing environment. An understanding of the application and the use of test equipment would be an advantage.

Excellent analytical skills, together with exceptional problem solving skills are required. The ideal candidate will be able to work unsupervised/independently, be self motivated and committed to their self development. The ability to adapt to a changing environment, undertake a challenge, remain calm whilst under pressure are important qualities of the role.
