Fat Hippo are looking for a experienced Head Chef to join our team, with an exciting new opportunity in York!

As a Head Chef at Fat Hippo, you must be familiar with working in an incredibly fast paced kitchen whilst maintaining high specification standards. Working closely with our Executive Chef and Area Head Chef, you’ll be provided with full training in all our systems and procedures to provide you with the best opportunities for success.

You will be responsible for completing kitchen paperwork within set time frames and always to the correct standard, ensuring stock checks are completed efficiently and orders are accurate to prevent any stock shortages at all times.

Born in 2010 with roots in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Fat Hippo are renowned for the best burgers and dirty fries. With a full menu of signature beef and boneless buttermilk chicken patties, we specialise in the best burgers, loaded fries and more ‘good old fashioned, roll up your sleeves and get it all over your face’ food.
