Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting and decorating techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client specifications. Your enthusiasm and craftsmanship will contribute to creating visually stunning environments, whether residential, commercial, or industrial. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a fast-paced construction setting while working on diverse projects that challenge your creativity and precision.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
Apply paints, varnishes, and other decorative finishes with precision and attention to detail
Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding to achieve desired results
Maintain a safe work environment by following health and safety regulations at all times
Manage time effectively to complete projects within deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Skills

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating with a strong portfolio of completed projects
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and suppliers
Knowledge of health and safety protocols relevant to painting and decorating work environments
Proficiency in using various painting tools, techniques, and finishing methods
