Audio Engineer

Salary: GBP 4,100 per month

About the Role

Audio Takes UK is seeking a technically skilled and creative Audio Engineer to support recording, mixing, editing, and audio production projects. The successful candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with a keen ear for quality and a passion for delivering professional audio experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Record, edit, mix, and master audio content.
Set up and operate microphones, consoles, interfaces, and recording equipment.
Monitor audio quality and troubleshoot technical issues.
Collaborate with producers, artists, editors, and creative teams.
Maintain recording equipment and studio systems.
Prepare audio files for different production and distribution formats.
Manage audio archives and production documentation.
Stay informed about emerging audio technologies and production techniques.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Audio Engineering, Sound Production, Music Technology, or a related field.
Professional experience in audio engineering or production.
Strong knowledge of digital audio workstations and recording equipment.
Excellent understanding of sound recording, editing, mixing, and mastering.
Strong technical troubleshooting and attention to detail.
