Our revolutionary software platform empowers developers and organizations to seamlessly design, optimize, and scale complex quantum algorithms, automating intricate development workflows to turn ambitious quantum concepts into functional, high-impact solutions. They have reached a pivotal inflection point—moving rapidly from category invention to market leadership. To capture this momentum,they are seeking a high-caliber commercial leader to drive their next phase of hyper-growth.

About the Role

As our first dedicated commercial leader for the UK&I territory, you will spearhead our business development and build a dominant presence in one of the world//'s most sophisticated quantum ecosystems. Operating in a fully remote capacity, you will do much more than secure enterprise accounts; you will cultivate high-value relationships with public sector initiatives, research hubs, and strategic industry partners, directly shaping our regional go-to-market strategy and establishing the foundation for long-term expansion.

Responsibilities:

End-to-End Deal Management: Take complete ownership of the sales cycle—from initial prospecting and stakeholder engagement to proposal design, negotiation, and contract closure.
Navigate Complex Procurement: Effectively guide multi-layered buying groups, aligning diverse internal stakeholders such as Chief Scientists, CTOs, CDOs, procurement professionals, and C-suite economic buyers.
Value-Based Discovery: Conduct deep-dive executive discovery sessions to uncover critical business challenges that quantum computing can solve, translating complex technical capabilities into clear commercial value before the buyer has even framed the problem.
Manage Mid-Length Cycles: Run highly structured, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales processes, navigating deal timelines that typically range from 3 to 6 months.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams, including product, pre-sales engineering, customer success, marketing, and legal, to ensure seamless deal execution.
Strategic Positioning: Act as a trusted partner rather than a transactional vendor, structuring enterprise agreements designed for long-term account growth and expansion from day one.
GTM & Market Intelligence: Feed critical market insights back into the business to help refine territory planning, verticalized messaging, and competitive positioning.
Industry Ambassadorship: Represent the organization at major industry gatherings and quantum-tech conferences as an authoritative, credible voice in the ecosystem.
Pipeline Hygiene: Build, track, and maintain a highly qualified sales pipeline with a disciplined approach to forecasting.

Candidate Profile:

Proven Enterprise Sales Track Record: 5+ years of enterprise software or ecosystem sales experience, with a documented history of winning deals valued at $200K+ ACV. (Experience selling deep-tech SaaS solutions is a strong plus).
Enterprise Credibility: Demonstrated success selling into Fortune 500 enterprises, with specific named logos and performance metrics you can reference.
Category Creation Experience: Proven ability to sell pre-mainstream, emerging technologies where you must educate the market and generate demand rather than just responding to existing requests.
Technical Articulacy: Comfort and credibility when presenting to highly technical audiences—including engineers, PhDs, and scientific researchers—without losing sight of the business value.
Stakeholder Alignment: Expert-level skills in managing complex enterprise deals involving both technical champions and senior executive decision-makers at the VP/C-suite level.
Agility & Adaptability: Excitement for fast-paced startup environments and the ability to execute successfully when the playbook is still evolving.

Qualifications:

An MBA and/or a technical degree.
Prior experience scaling a business during its transition into a new enterprise software category.
Deep domain expertise in at least one key vertical: advanced manufacturing, financial services, aerospace & defense, chemicals & materials, or healthcare & life sciences.
A history of managing a quota exceeding $2M ARR with consistent quota attainment.
A professional background in advanced simulation, EDA tools, HPC, AI/ML infrastructure, or early-stage quantum computing platforms.
