Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team! In this vital leadership role, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and hospitality. Duties

Support the Head Chef in supervising daily kitchen activities, ensuring smooth operations from food prep to plating.
Lead and manage kitchen staff, fostering teamwork, motivation, and high standards of performance.
Oversee food production processes, maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation across all dishes.
Assist in developing new menu items and refining existing recipes to enhance guest satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimize waste while ensuring availability of ingredients.
Serve as a role model for hospitality excellence by engaging with guests and supporting service staff when needed.

Requirements

Proven supervising experience in a busy restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary arts.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Extensive kitchen experience with knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with staff and management.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Prior restaurant experience is essential; serving experience is a plus for understanding guest expectations.
