Full job description

Civils Groundworkers

Location will be Site based in different site locations across the country

Are you ready to build your career with a supportive, hands-on civils team? We’re looking for Civils Groundworkers of all experience levels to join us, develop their skills, and play a key role in delivering high-quality projects across the UK.

What you'll be doing

Work as part of a team, delivering all aspects of groundworks
Installation of platforms
Able to use a laser level, and read drawings (not essential but would be a benefit)
Steel fixing and shuttering (not essential but would be a benefit)
Drainage installation
Concreting skills
Polite manor and good communication skills
Conduct self in a way that reflect and promotes the Van Elle company values
Understand and act in accordance with Van Elle’s policies and procedures.
Any other tasks that you may reasonably be required to undertake.

Who we're looking for

Experience in civils groundworks
Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) card
CPCS excavator 10t and above or Npors with CSCS logo
CPCS FWD tipping dumper or Npors with CSCS logo
CPCS roller or Npors with CSCS logo
First aid
Temporary work Supervisor
Lift supervisor
Strong work ethic and Punctuality
Able to Work Nationwide
SSSTS/SMSTS (Not essential but would be a benefit)

Other Requirements:

Eligible to work and live in the UK.
Flexibility to travel in the UK.
A full driving licence, that is valid in the UK (desirable)

What you’ll get in return:

Competitive salary depending on experience.
Hours of work are 7.30am – 6.00pm, Monday to Friday
22 days holiday plus bank/public holidays.
