About the role:
Are you ready to begin an exciting career in the world of healthcare? As a Pre-Registration Pharmacy Technician Apprentice, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our customers and the wider community. Working alongside experienced pharmacy professionals you will gain the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC and achieve a Level 3 qualification.
What you’ll do:

Support the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy by working closely with pharmacy managers to complete training and tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, effective and high-quality services to customers while maintaining excellent patient care.
- Assist with the preparation, dispensing and supply of medicines under the supervision of qualified pharmacy professionals.

Support patients with general enquiries, signposting them to the appropriate healthcare services when required.

Accurately process prescriptions and support the dispensing of medicines in line with pharmacy procedures.

Support safe medicine storage, stock rotation and the management of expiry dates.

Complete all required elements of the Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship Programme over a 24-month period

What we are looking for:
- Eligibility for the apprenticeship, including GCSE English Language and Mathematics at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent).

Dedicated to learning and completing a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician apprenticeship.

Passion for helping people, customer service and healthcare/pharmacy.

Friendly, professional attitude with good communication skills.

Ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.

Good organisation, accuracy and teamwork in a busy environment.
