Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Business Support Officer to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our administrative operations, ensuring smooth daily functions and providing essential support across various departments. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help drive efficiency, foster effective communication, and contribute to the overall success of our organization. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while making a meaningful impact.

Duties

Manage and coordinate administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining filing systems
Handle incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette to assist clients, partners, and team members
Perform data entry and record keeping using Microsoft Office applications, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks to ensure accuracy and accessibility
Support financial processes by managing invoices, expense reports, and basic bookkeeping tasks
Assist with organizing company events, trainings, and meetings to promote team engagement and productivity
Maintain office supplies inventory and liaise with vendors to ensure smooth operations
Provide clerical support including typing correspondence, updating databases, and preparing reports

Requirements

Proven office experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets), and QuickBooks
Prior administrative experience demonstrating effective multitasking and time management
Excellent phone etiquette with clear communication skills
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy in typing and record keeping
Familiarity with clerical procedures and office equipment such as printers and scanners
Ability to adapt quickly to new software tools and organizational processes
