Glendale Mouldings require a production operator to work in our plastics injection moulding facility in Glenrothes.

Normal working hours are: Early shift - working 6am - 2pm (Monday to Thursday) and 6am to 1pm (Friday),

Day shift - working 8am - 4.30pm (Monday to Thursday) and 8am - 1pm (Friday), or

Back shift - working 2pm - midnight (Monday to Wednesday) and 2pm - 11pm (Thursday).

Applicants ideally must be capable of working any shift pattern.

Person Profile:

Experience of working as Production Operator within manufacturing organisation, preferably including ‘Hygiene’ environment
Experience of injection moulding or other plastic processing desirable, but not essential
Capable of learning new skills quickly
Numeracy and literacy skills are essential in order to accurately complete relevant paperwork
Willing to contribute to a team-working philosophy

Key Tasks:

Operate production machinery with due care and attention to quality of the parts
Perform secondary operations to match desired cycle time
Record production data correctly and accurately on production documentation
Identify and report faults with production parts or machinery
Maintain safe and clean work environment by following standards and procedures

This opportunity will initially be temporary for three months but may lead to a permanent position for suitable candidates.
