Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our vibrant culinary team! Responsibilities

Oversee daily food production activities, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations
Assist the Head Chef in developing innovative menus that delight guests and reflect current culinary trends
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a collaborative team environment
Maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe dining environment
Coordinate food preparation processes to optimize efficiency and minimize waste while maintaining high standards
Support serving staff during busy service times to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest experiences
Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage stock rotation to prevent shortages or spoilage

Requirements

Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong background in food production, cooking techniques, and culinary arts with hands-on kitchen experience
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and motivate staff
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices essential for maintaining compliance
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and front-of-house staff
Experience in food preparation, menu development, and restaurant operations preferred
Passion for hospitality, serving guests with enthusiasm, professionalism, and attention to detail

Pay: £25,420.00-£42,152.66 per year
