Full job description

ROLE: Mobile Plumbing Engineer
HOURS: 40 Hours
LOCATION: Maidstone

We're looking for a Mobile Plumbing Engineer who will work across a range of Mitie client sites, undertaking inspections, maintenance, and repairs on commercial plumbing and drainage installations while delivering an exceptional level of service.

Role Responsibilities:

Undertake inspections, maintenance, adaptations, and repairs across a variety of commercial plumbing and drainage installations.
Carry out pipework inspections and identify defects, recommending and completing remedial works where required.
Provide a high level of customer service, answering client queries and keeping clients informed of site activities during service visits.
Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, including inspection reports, service records, and remedial work logs.
Work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of work at all times.

Required Qualifications: Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

Previous experience within a Maintenance, Facilities Management, or similar environment.
City & Guilds Level 2, NVQ Level 2, equivalent qualification, or relevant technical diploma in Plumbing or a related discipline.
Good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of working.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide excellent client service.
Physically capable of carrying out the full range of duties associated with the role.
