Job Summary

We are seeking a young, dedicated and skilled bricklayer/ improver to join our gang, In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of construction and maintenance tasks that require precision, craftsmanship, and safety awareness. Your expertise will contribute to building durable structures, ensuring quality finishes, and maintaining the integrity of various projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your skills and allow you to grow professionally in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble building materials with accuracy and efficiency
Perform bricklaying and masonry work to construct walls, facades, and other structural elements according to specifications
Execute carpentry tasks such as framing, installing doors, windows, and cabinetry to meet project requirements
Conduct roofing installations and repairs ensuring proper sealing and weatherproofing for long-lasting results
Operate welding equipment safely to join metal components for structural or decorative purposes
Assist with site preparation, including measuring, leveling, and setting up scaffolding or ladders as needed
Follow safety protocols diligently while handling tools and materials to maintain a secure work environment

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment with attention to detail
Strong knowledge of bricklaying techniques
Experience with roofing installation, repair, and m
Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications accurately
Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to adapt quickly to changing project needs
Good physical stamina and dexterity for prolonged periods of manual work in various weather conditions
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors effectively
