Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Supervisor to support our team. The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills, a background in food preparation or FOH operations, and the ability to manage a team effectively 2 days a week out of 5. The other 3 days, you will be running a unit. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with restaurant, hotel, or catering experience to develop their supervisory capabilities within a dynamic environment. The Assistant Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations 2 days a week, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and assisting in delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Responsibilities

Assist the supervisor/manager in managing daily service operations to ensure smooth workflow.
Supervise and support team members in food preparation, serving, and cleaning tasks.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Coordinate product production activities to meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Monitor stock levels and assist with stock management and maintenance to minimise waste and optimise resources.
Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, motivation, and high performance.

Experience

Supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment or a legnth of service candidate ready to take the next step.
Background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential.
Experience in team management, leadership roles, or supervisory positions is highly desirable.
Knowledge of hospitality practices including serving. Barista skills is advantageous.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. This position offers an engaging environment for motivated individuals eager to advance their careers within the hospitality industry while ensuring exceptional service delivery through effective team management.
Drivers with their own transport are desirable. You must be able to get yourself to and from work.

Pay: £13.75 per hour
