Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR and Payroll Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our human resources and payroll functions, ensuring efficient administrative processes, and enhancing our organisational effectiveness. This position requires strong communication skills and proficiency in IT systems, including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain accurate employee records within the HR systems.
Conduct data entry tasks to ensure all employee information is up-to-date and compliant with company policies.
Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating interviews and managing candidate communications through social media platforms.
Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Collaborate with team members to facilitate training sessions and onboarding processes for new hires.
Provide administrative support to the HR department, including preparing reports and presentations as required.
Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to address inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and other resources.
Prepare payroll for processing including timesheets and tacho reviews

Qualifications

Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within human resources.
Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in record keeping.
CIPD or CIPP is desirable
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
