The Role
Do you have workshop joinery experience and take pride in producing high-quality work?
Sliderobes is a market leader in the bespoke fitted furniture industry, with retail stores and manufacturing sites throughout the UK and Ireland. We are looking for an experienced Bench Joiner to join our manufacturing team.
This is a factory-based role where you will help manufacture bespoke wardrobes, cabinets, home offices, bedroom furniture and other made-to-measure furniture.
Every product we create is designed around the individual customer, so attention to detail, accuracy and pride in your work are essential.

What We Are Looking For
You will need:
- A minimum of one year’s workshop joinery experience
- A passion for producing high-quality, customised furniture
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your craftsmanship
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of your work
- The ability to work effectively as part of a wider manufacturing team
- The ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
- A good level of physical fitness
- A punctual, polite and enthusiastic approach
- The right to work in the United Kingdom
Key Responsibilities
As a Bench Joiner, you will:
- Assemble bespoke furniture accurately according to design specifications
- Manufacture cabinets, wardrobes and other fitted furniture to a high standard
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Work to agreed production schedules and deadlines
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets our quality standards
- Support our Right-First-Time production targets
- Assist with the monthly factory stocktake
- Support the wider manufacturing and fitting teams when required
- Travel to customers’ homes occasionally to assist the installation team
- Complete occasional collections from suppliers
- Keep your work area clean, safe and organised
- Follow all factory health and safety procedures
