About the role

As the Project and Wellbeing Officer, you will be an essential part of both the National and Community & Place teams. The areas you will work across are: creative health, projects that support young people involved in, or on the fringes of, youth violence/criminality and youth voice and advocacy.

We are looking for someone who is an excellent and confident communicator, someone who is organised, proactive and loves systems and processes. As the Project and Wellbeing Officer, you will be supporting the team to develop the projects efficiently and supporting young people to progress through programmes and understand what they can do next.

Key responsibilities:

Work with the national programmes director and project leads to set up, implement, and maintain project management processes and systems across our national programmes by:
Working with our Programme and Evaluation Coordinator to maintain and improve systems already in place o Managing the coordination and communication of delivery staff and volunteers o Prioritising and monitoring the progress of tasks, actions, and milestones o Supporting the evaluation and development of projects over time o Understanding funder deliverables and ensuring these are being delivered
Managing referral processes and waiting lists
Communicating with vulnerable young people and families, supporting them to understand programmes, processes and progression pathways
Supporting young people who might be struggling to engage with programmes
Build and maintain, good connections with external support services and signposting and referring where needed
Act as a main point of contact for projects where appropriat
Minute taking and writing up notes and recordings from meetings and events
Source and maintain information about opportunities, progression routes and exit strategies
Collate information for funding reports
Support the operations manager and programme and evaluation coordinator with improvement of project monitoring and evaluation procedures
Use Upshot, our monitoring and evaluation software to provide programme insights, track project progress and provide information to the fundraising team
Promote and comply with all of our policies and practices
Be responsible for identifying and undertaking training and personal development
Be responsible for managing your own time and communicating well with the team
