We're looking for a Cleaner to join our Bexleyheath Academy team based in Bexleyheath.
Location: Bexleyheath Academy, Woolwich Road
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00 - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We're looking for a dedicated Cleaner to help us maintain a spotless, safe, and welcoming environment at Bexleyheath Academy. You'll play a vital role in ensuring that students, staff, and visitors enjoy a clean and comfortable space every day.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Cleaner, you'll be working within the Bexleyheath Academy team, supporting them in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your day to day will include:
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal areas
- Cleaning and disinfecting washrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors, and refilling supplies
- Dusting surfaces and sanitising high-touch points such as door handles and light switches
- Emptying waste bins and ensuring proper disposal of waste materials
- Responding promptly to spills and assisting with deep cleaning tasks when required
What are we looking for?
This role of Cleaner is great for you if:
- You have previous cleaning experience, ideally within a school, office, or commercial building
- You understand health and safety requirements, including COSHH regulations and the safe use of cleaning equipment
- You can work independently and take pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness
- You're reliable, organised, and able to follow cleaning schedules and procedures
