Looking for a full-time role in a lively and customer-focused environment?

Location: Origins Café, Bicester Avenue – part of the Blue Diamond Group
Hours: Full-time

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Origins Café, Bicester Avenue.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has a passion for hospitality and wants to be part of a busy and friendly team. Weekend availability is required for this role.

The Role

As a Catering Assistant, you will help deliver excellent service and maintain high standards across Origins Café. Working in a busy and friendly environment, you'll help create a welcoming experience for all customers.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

Welcoming and serving customers
Taking orders and processing payments accurately
Preparing hot and cold drinks, including barista-style beverages
Serving food and drinks efficiently
Supporting the team during busy service periods
Keeping the café clean, tidy and well presented
Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety

About You

We're looking for someone who brings energy, reliability and a genuine passion for hospitality.

You'll be:

Passionate about customer service and exceeding customer expectations
Friendly, approachable and attentive
Proud of delivering a job well done
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Flexible and reliable, with weekend availability required
Previous catering experience is preferred, but full training will be provided
Barista experience would be advantageous
