Pay Rate: £30,237
Grade: O
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, Rotating, 0600 - 1400, 0700 - 1500 & 1300 - 2100.
Location: Stoke on Trent, ST4

We're now looking for a Transport Planner to assist with the delivery of efficient and cost-effective network transport plans.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

Create routes and allocate vehicles, alongside Driver resources to meet planning deadlines.
Maintain KPI's and SLA's.
Liaise with Stores on a regular basis.
Build Relationships through Customer Service.
Customer contact point and communications.
Ensure that work instructions and standard operating procedures are followed and check lists adhered to.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

Transport planning experience desired.
Transport experience in a Supply Chain or Logistics environment is essential.
Excellent customer service skills.
Computer Literacy, including Excel.
Experience using Paragon (Desirable).
Good critical thinking skills.
Able to communicate at all levels, internally and externally.
