Salary: £35,000–£45,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Service: Adult Residential Care and Supported Living
Specialisms: Mental Health, Autism, Dual Diagnosis, Complex Needs and Behaviour That Challenges

Liberty Trail Care Group is seeking an experienced, motivated Registered Manager to lead St Agnes Lodge, our adult residential care home, while playing a key role in developing our supported living division.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone with a strong background managing services for adults with complex needs. You will be responsible for the safe, effective and compliant operation of St Agnes Lodge, ensuring outstanding person-centred outcomes for residents, while helping to shape the growth, quality and operational delivery of our wider supported living provision.

About St Agnes Lodge

St Agnes Lodge is an adult residential service supporting people aged 18–65 with a range of needs, including:

Mental health needs
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Dual diagnosis
Behaviour that challenges
Complex and forensic support needs

We provide a safe, structured and therapeutic environment that promotes independence, dignity, stability and meaningful outcomes.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management, quality, compliance and performance of St Agnes Lodge. You will lead and develop the staff team, maintain positive relationships with families and professionals, and ensure the service consistently meets CQC Fundamental Standards.

Alongside managing the residential home, you will support the organisation’s growth within supported living. This will include contributing to service development, referral and assessment processes, staffing structures, quality assurance and commissioner relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Hold responsibility for the safe, compliant and effective management of St Agnes Lodge.
Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing staff team.
Ensure consistently high standards of person-centred care and support.
Oversee care plans, risk assessments, medication processes and safeguarding.
Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, legislation and internal policies.
Complete audits, quality assurance checks and service improvement plans.
Manage recruitment, induction, training, supervision and performance management.
Develop strong working relationships with residents, families, commissioners, social workers and health professionals.
Support occupancy, referrals, assessments and positive transitions into the service.
Contribute to the strategic growth and operational development of the supported living division.
Drive continuous improvement, with the aim of achieving and maintaining a Good or Outstanding CQC rating.

About You

You will be an experienced and confident manager with a minimum of three years’ experience managing services for adults within the relevant client group.

You will be passionate about delivering excellent care, developing teams and creating services where people can live safely, independently and with genuine choice and control.

Essential Requirements

Minimum three years’ management experience within adult social care.
Proven experience supporting adults with mental health needs, autism, dual diagnosis, complex needs and/or behaviour that challenges.
Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Service Manager or equivalent senior management role.
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, quality assurance and person-centred care.
Experience leading, recruiting and developing staff teams.
Ability to manage service performance, compliance and operational priorities.
Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or willingness to complete this where required.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable.
