Role: Playworker

Location: Barnton Community Nursery and Primary School

Salary: Grade 3 SCP 3

FTE: £24,795 Actual Salary Pro-Rata: £8,461

Contract: Temporary for one year initially

Hours: 15 hours per week, 38 weeks a year

The Governors and Headteacher at Barnton Community Nursery and Primary School wish to appoint a dedicated

Playworker to join our team. This position will be for 15 hours per week and is term time only.

We are looking for a friendly, caring and motivated person with plenty of energy who can join our hardworking team

in supporting teaching and learning across our school.

The successful candidate should:

Have some relevant experience of working with children,
Demonstrate high expectations of individual achievement and behaviour,

Be able to work in close partnership with the whole school community.
