Operations Manager
Location: Redditch

Are you a seasoned Operations Manager with a strong background in high-precision manufacturing or complex assembly? This is a fantastic opportunity to lead production operations in a cutting-edge facility, driving efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.

About the Role:
As part of the Senior Management Team, you will oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth production workflows, optimal resource utilisation, and adherence to safety and quality standards. You'll bring your leadership expertise to manage cross-functional teams and play a pivotal role in achieving strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Leadership: Manage manufacturing processes to meet schedules, maintain quality, and optimise resources.
Continuous Improvement: Drive lean initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver results.
Quality & Compliance: Work with the Quality Team to ensure all operations exceed regulatory standards.
Health & Safety: Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
Supply Chain Management: Collaborate to streamline inventory and ensure timely availability of materials.
KPI Reporting: Monitor budgets and performance metrics, delivering insights to senior leadership.

About You:
You'll bring proven experience in manufacturing operations management, a deep understanding of lean principles, and a results-driven mindset. Key skills include:

Leadership and team management in a complex manufacturing setting.
Expertise in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies (Green Belt or higher preferred).
Proficiency in ERP and production planning systems.
Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards.

This position is based in Redditch and is easily commutable from Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Studley, South Birmingham, Solihull, Worcester, Kidderminster and Stourbridge.
