Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Order Processor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring that customer requirements are met. This role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to facilitate smooth order fulfilment.

Duties

Process customer orders with precision, ensuring all details are correct.
Liaise with sales, production, and logistics teams to coordinate order fulfilment.
Maintain accurate records of orders and inventory levels using appropriate software.
Address customer inquiries regarding order status and resolve any issues that may arise.
Generate reports on order processing metrics for management review.
Assist in the development of schematics and layouts as needed using CAD software.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design specifications are met.

Skills

Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Civil 3D, NavisWorks, Sketchup, Revit, and MicroStation is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and customers.
Familiarity with order processing systems and inventory management software is an advantage.
Problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during the order process.
