Full job description

So, what will I be doing?

Yeo Valley is not just a dairy manufacturing company, we are the manufacturing company that produce over 25% of the UKs packaged yogurt, created by with a stellar reputation and a passion Yeo Valley is known for its commitment to organic farming, sustainability, and animal welfare.

Manage process engineering and improvement activities at the Blagdon manufacturing site coaching and mentoring engineers in process engineering.

Manage Process, Automation and Controls team supporting strategic manufacturing capability improvement through Subject Matter Expertise and insight into available technologies and applications.

Leading work streams to develop best technologies and practices, supporting the specification, evaluation, and execution of major capital projects

Working with apprentices mentoring and supporting development of young talent in modern manufacturing technology.

Advocate and influence the commitment to people and food safety through the development and enforcement of working practices in line with legislative, company and working procedures.

Coach others to effectively develop skills and knowledge of new processes and technologies to support sustainable asset performance.

Develop diagnostic processes and data integrity to aide and facilitate problem solving in complex processes and systems. Provide subject matter expertise or technical knowledge to identify, resolve and prevent faults and failures.

Sounds interesting, what do I need?

Essential:

Higher learning qualification in Engineering discipline (HND or equivalent degree)

Understanding of OEE of the impact of engineering

Demonstrable capability in the application of advanced fault finding tools & techniques

Desirable:

Project management experience

Knowledge of best practice in asset care

Coaching & Mentoring

Leadership experience
