Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, demonstrating proficiency in using various hand and power tools. This role involves working on residential and some commercial roofing projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

The Roofer will be responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining roofs, contributing to the overall integrity of structures.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain roofs using a variety of materials including slate, tile, and flat roofing systems.
Perform heavy lifting as required when handling roofing materials and equipment.
Fabricate components as needed for roofing systems.
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete projects within deadlines.
Conduct regular inspections of roofs to identify potential issues or necessary repairs.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar construction role is preferred.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing tasks.
Ability to weld when necessary for specific roofing applications.

Strong understanding of plumb techniques to ensure proper alignment during installations.
Capability to work at heights safely and effectively.
Excellent physical stamina and strength for heavy lifting tasks.
