Blairgowrie High School is seeking an enthusiastic, talented and committed Teacher of Physics to join our successful Science faculty on a full-time, permanent basis.

Located in the heart of Perthshire, Blairgowrie High School is a vibrant and inclusive learning community where we are committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences and supporting every young person to achieve their full potential.

As a Teacher of Physics, you will:

Deliver high-quality learning and teaching in Physics across the Broad General Education (BGE) and Senior Phase.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that reflect the principles of Curriculum for Excellence and the requirements of SQA qualifications.
Promote scientific enquiry, critical thinking and problem-solving skills through practical and theoretical learning experiences.
Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that supports all learners to achieve their potential.
Monitor, assess and track pupil progress, using data effectively to inform learning and improve attainment.
Contribute to the wider life of the school through interdisciplinary learning, enrichment opportunities and extra-curricular activities.
Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Science faculty to support continuous improvement and deliver positive outcomes for young people.
