Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable REFORMER Pilates Instructor to LEAD and develop a dynamic fitness team. (We also need adhoc Reformer Instructors). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy and the ability to educate clients on the principles of REFORMER Pilates. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys motivating others and has experience in sports coaching or related fields. As a REFORMER Pilates Lead Instructor, you will play a vital role in leading the team that will be enhancing our clients' physical well-being and promoting a healthy lifestyle. The first studio is in Chesham, must be local and have easy access. This is the ideal opportunity for a REFORMER pilates instructor to additionally take on a team leadership role and have the luxury of being based at one site.

Duties

Conduct engaging and effective REFORMER Pilates classes tailored to various skill levels, ensuring all participants feel included and motivated.
Educate clients on proper techniques, alignment, and breathing methods to maximise their workout experience.
Recruit & develop a team of REFORMER Pilates instructors
Schedule hours & rota
Day to day leadership and organisation
Training & development of the team
Demonstrate an understanding of anatomy to provide safe modifications for clients with specific needs or limitations.
Create a welcoming and supportive environment that encourages client participation and progression.
Monitor client progress and provide feedback to help them achieve their fitness goals.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the studio equipment and space to ensure a safe workout environment.
Stay updated on the latest trends in REFORMER Pilates and fitness to continually enhance your teaching methods.

Experience

Previous experience as a REFORMER Pilates Instructor or in a similar role is preferred.
Previous experience of team leadership is advantageous though this could be your opportunity to move to the next stage of your career
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, with the ability to educate clients effectively.
Background in sports coaching or fitness training is advantageous but not essential.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate individuals or groups.
A friendly, approachable demeanour that fosters positive relationships with clients.
