Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Event Photographer to capture memorable moments at various events. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work in dynamic environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your photography skills while contributing to the visual storytelling of our events. The position is paid and suitable for both experienced professionals and aspiring photographers looking to build their portfolio.

Responsibilities

Attend a range of events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings, to photograph key moments and candid shots.
Utilise professional photography equipment to produce high-quality images in diverse lighting conditions.
Edit photographs using industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, or other relevant programmes to enhance image quality.
Manage social media accounts by selecting and posting engaging images that reflect the event’s atmosphere.
Collaborate with clients and event organisers to understand specific photographic requirements and preferences.
Maintain organised archives of images for easy retrieval and delivery post-event.
Occasionally create short video clips or montages using Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro for promotional purposes or client delivery.

Requirements

Proven experience in photography, with a strong portfolio demonstrating event coverage.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere; familiarity with Capture One is desirable.
Skills in photo editing and colour correction to produce polished images suitable for publication or print.
Knowledge of social media management to optimise image sharing across various platforms.
Ability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines during live events.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in both photography and post-production processes.
A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends as required for event coverage.
Access to professional camera equipment; own camera gear is preferred but not mandatory if provided by the employer.

Pay: £26,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
