Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter and panel beater to join our team, specializing in auto body repair and restoration. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in vehicle maintenance and painting, demonstrating proficiency with various tools and techniques. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results that meet customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
Apply paint using airless paint spraying techniques and other methods
Perform auto body repair and restoration tasks, ensuring vehicles are restored to their original condition
Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various tasks including buffing and detailing
Conduct vehicle maintenance checks to ensure all systems are functioning properly
Provide excellent customer service throughout the repair process, addressing any concerns or questions
Assist in auto estimating for repair costs and timeframes
Handle heavy lifting of parts and equipment as required

Experience

Previous dealership experience
Proficiency in welding and mechanical knowledge is advantageous
Experience with auto body repair, auto painting, detailing, buffing, and auto glass installation is essential
Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and airless paint spraying equipment is required
Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients about their vehicle needs
Experience in auto restoration or mechanic work is a plus
