Full job description

Location: Bournemouth
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6.5 hours per day (32.5 hours per week) 5:30 am - 12:00 pm
Pay: £13.71 per hour
Training: FREE Forklift Truck Licence available if wanted

BCS Commercial Cleaning is looking for a reliable and organised Cleaning Supervisor / Team Leader to support the smooth running of our cleaning team in Bournemouth.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, supporting colleagues, and ensuring high standards are maintained across the site. Full training will be provided, including a FREE forklift truck licence.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting and supervising the cleaning team on a daily basis.
Making sure staff attend their scheduled shifts and duties are completed correctly.
Organising holiday cover and helping manage staff rotas.
Covering cleaning duties when required due to holidays or absences.
Monitoring cleaning standards and reporting any issues.
Completing staff timesheets and basic administration.
Keeping records of staff sickness and absences.
Ordering cleaning supplies and monitoring stock levels.
Communicating with management regarding staffing and site requirements.
Following company health and safety procedures.

We are looking for someone who:

Is reliable, organised and takes pride in their work.
Has good communication and people skills.
Can motivate and support a team.
Is confident taking responsibility and solving problems.
Has previous cleaning or supervisory experience (preferred but not essential).
Is willing to learn and develop.
