Pay Rates

Mon – Fri: £14.20 per hour
Sat – Sun: £16.00 per hour
Mileage: Paid £0.45p per mile

Shift Patterns

Our services run 7 days a week, offering flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle:

Day Shifts: 8:00/9:00 AM – 2:00/3:00 PM
Evening Shifts: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Sleep-in Shifts: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Your Role as a Support Worker / Respite Caregiver

As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in helping individuals live independently and enjoy fulfilling lives. You’ll provide person-centred support, enabling service users to develop skills, build confidence, and take part in their home and wider community life.

We are seeking enthusiastic, compassionate, and self-motivated individuals to provide temporary relief to primary caregivers. This role ensures clients continue receiving high-quality care, companionship, and daily support while their regular caregiver takes time to rest, recharge, or attend to personal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Personal Care: Assisting with washing, bathing, showering, grooming, dressing, and toileting/continence care.
Household Tasks: Supporting with meal preparation, light cleaning, laundry, ironing, and changing bed linen.
Medication Support: Assisting with reminders, administration, and recording intake as per the care plan.
Companionship & Social Interaction: Providing conversation, reassurance, and accompanying clients on walks, appointments, or social activities.
Mobility & Exercise: Assisting with transfers and the use of mobility aids.
Record-Keeping: Completing care logs and communicating with families and healthcare professionals.

Job Description

Working within the principles or person-centred support, enabling development and inclusion in their everyday lives within their home and wider community we require both full time and part time Support Workers/Carers.

We require dedicated Individuals to support adults with learning disabilities, autism and autistic spectrum disorders, complex needs, mental health issues and challenging behaviours in all aspects of their daily lives.

You will also be expected to support the service users with general household chores for example cooking and laundry and housework such as hoovering and dusting and personal care. (Assistance with bathing, toileting and feeding). No two days are the same in this role, you will have the opportunity to assist someone else broaden their horizons and experiences whilst doing the same for you.

Skills & Requirements

We don’t require experience as full training is provided, but we are looking for:
Compassion and empathy: A genuine desire to help others.
Communication: Building rapport with clients and families.
Patience and understanding: Remaining calm in challenging situations.
Observational skills: Noticing changes in condition or behaviour.
Organisation: Managing tasks effectively and keeping accurate records.
Physical stamina: Required for tasks like lifting or assisting with mobility.
Essential: A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Essential: The Right to Work in the UK.
